  No, what does this button do? Just switch to a specific folder?

  See my attached file, 2: Favorite bar (folders).
  Yes, it hops to a specific folder. A nice feature which I used a lot in postbox.

  Ok, it's a special bar below the toolbar. This is not possible in MailMate. You'll have to use the mailbox list. Note that you can always create smart mailboxes and place them at the top of the list. If a smart mailbox is based on a single IMAP mailbox then it also tries to be a bit smart about this, e.g., you can drag emails to the smart mailbox which is then interpreted as the messages being moved to the IMAP mailbox.

  I don't oppose this feature, but I simply have too long lists to make any promises. For now, I'll have to mark it “bluesky”.
