problems in search feature
Reported by Thibaud | June 11th, 2011 @ 12:17 PM
I have the feeling that the "is exactly" option when searching by date does not work. Am I the only one?
Another thing, always concerning the search by date, when selecting a new option, (for instance from "is after" to "is exactly",) the date is reset to [today]. It does not fit my behaviour: I can decide after having typed a date to change the search option and I think this would be more natural that the date field does not change to [today].
There is of course options (like "is wihin last") that would change the type of the date field (compared to "is before": from a date to a duration). A cutting-edge feature could be to translate the date in the field to the duration (ex: from "09/06/2011" to "3 days".

Most of it fixed (only translating from relative date to specific date).
(The exactly/before/after comparison methods still work best when close to time zone 0 since they do not take the current time zone into consideration.)
