    What kind of security update?

Do you know how to use a Terminal window?

I suspect the problem is a hidden file located in this folder:

    ~/Library/Application Support/MailMate/

I'm interested in any files prefixed with a "." (these files are not shown in the Finder).

Prefixed means that it's the first character of the filename. I don't see that in your list. Could you check again?

And you still get the same type of crash? Are you sure there is not a file named something like .files_...?

Yes, if this matches a previous report then this file is empty. If it's empty then delete it and relaunch MailMate. If it's not empty then I would like to see it.

    • State changed from “new” to “cantreproduce”

Great. Let me know if the problem resurfaces and you have an idea what might trigger it.

I think that the problem was related to the upgrade Security mac, upgrade was associated with the programs that have been downloaded not through the app store
