Request: Command-# for recalling MailMate windows (like Terminal)
Reported by emory | May 26th, 2011 @ 09:34 PM
Would it be possible to refer to windows and pull them to the foreground based on number?
For example, Command-1 to focus Window 1, Command-2 to focus Window 2.
Terminal.app lets you refer to windows that way and other applications sometimes do something similar.

shoot I of course forgot that the saved views (widescreen/3-pane) are mapped to Command-X.

Yes, the shortcuts are taken. I may change that, but not to use the
shortcuts for the windows. I have a long-term plan for introducing
tabs and here I would like to use ⌘1-n for switching between tabs. And
then something more intuitive for switching layouts.I guess that for users that never use tabs, the shortcuts could instead
be used for windows. I'll try to keep that in mind.[state:closed]
