Flags don't appear anymore

Just noticed that when I click the Flag icon in my MM main window, the flag no longer is placed on the message under view at the time. I'm running MM Version 1.9.1 (5084) on Macintosh 2.66 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon, 20 GB, 1066 MHz DDR3, OS X 10.10.4. Any ideas on how to fix this?
