Unit in folder Size column

Reported by Paul | April 22nd, 2015 @ 01:39 AM

Query from a new user:

Is it possible to change the units that are used in the Size column, e.g. "MiB" and "KiB", to "M" and "K"?

thanks,

Paul.

No, that would also make it ambiguous. It has all become a bit confusing -- also because Apple changed the default type of measure for the OS at some point.

I should probably switch to the Apple measure although I kind of dislike counting to 1000 instead of 1024 :-) I believe though that Apple uses KB and MB which means you would still not get what you want.

    • State changed from “new” to “bluesky”

I'll pick “bluesky” since I should eventually switch to the same measure as Apple Mail.
