Server response: "I9 Bad Could not parse command".'

Reported by David Green | December 7th, 2014 @ 04:35 AM

I have had this problem a two times of the last week. It appears that the problem is that Mailmate can not move a message on the server side (it moves on the local view). It did not work to move the message back.

Last time, I resolved the problem by identifying the message, moving to Trash, then deleting it from trash.

I am attaching the popup message and the Activity Viewer view of the error.

The mailbox at issue is dgreenbhm@gmail.com. I am sending the server logs by e-mail.

    • State changed from “new” to “resolved”

This is a problem with one of the recent 64 bit builds. It should be fixed in r5025, but you might have messages still affected by this problem. You can do as follows:

    • Enable “Raw Flags” in the messages outline.
    • Look for any messages with an invalid IMAP keywords. This can also be seen in your second screenshot.
    • Enable/disable, e.g., the Unread state of the message and the invalid keyword should disappear.

Let me know if this does not help and sorry about the inconvenience of this bug.
