Evernote "Add with summary" adds plaintext version of mail
Reported by Fredrik Alm | October 3rd, 2014 @ 09:06 PM
Even if I look at an HTML formatted mail in MailMate, when I send it to evernote it just contains a plain text version, usually saying "view this mail in your browser" which kind of breaks my workflow with EN. Is this a setting that I haven't found or is it by design? I'd really like it to send HTML directly into EN.
Thanks,
Fredrik

For some reason I submitted the same ticket twice, so I will disregard #917 and continue here.
If I send a HTML only email to evernote, it looks like the attached screenshot in EN.
Thanks,

@Fredrik: I fixed the raw HTML problem. MailMate now converts to plain text (actually Markdown text) when only an HTML body part exists.
I'll keep the ticket open as a request for sending HTML (when possible) to Evernote instead of plain text.

I am having the same issue. The send to Evernote function in MailMate is pretty useless for me as I cannot send HTML formatted e-mails to Evernote. I have a workaround using Boxer on iOS that does the job with no issues but it is a huge friction in my E-mail workflow.
