10.10 Yosemite -- bad ruby interpreter
Reported by John Goodleaf | June 27th, 2014 @ 09:37 PM
When running MailMate from the command line (i.e. starting from a Terminal instance) I see the following error
Failed to run script: #!/usr/bin/env bash

I am running OS X Yosemite DP2. The base ruby is actually 2.0, and the 'Versions/1.8' location doesn't exist. If this is a hard-coded value in MailMate, you may need to come up with a more dynamic solution. The app still works acceptably but no errors is probably better than harmless errors :)

This is fixed in the latest test versions: Hold down ⌥ when clicking “Check Now” in the Software Update preferences pane.
Note that it is not quite a harmless error. It affects display of messages and generation of HTML of Markdown messages.
