When "generate HTML body part" is selected signature is not included in final message
Reported by Luca | March 11th, 2014 @ 05:52 PM
I noticed this in builds 4061 and 4063. When composing a new message and "generate HTML body part" is selected, signatures are not included in the final message (and do not appear in the composition preview window). They correctly appear if touched manually e.g. by removing a character in the signature from the composition window.
This same behaviour happens even if an HTML variant is set up for the signature.
edit: however, if "generate HTML body part" is unselected composition is always in "markdown" mode even though "plain text" is selected.

In other words, signatures in HTML (plain or HTML) do not work at all for you?
Your edit-comment: I can reproduce this bug.

Whenever editing a message (either new or a reply) the signature is in the composition window but not in the "preview" window. When the message is sent, the signature is not included in the message.
My signatures have no HTML variant. Only HTML element is a link.
Signatures correctly appear in the preview and delivered message only if I "touch" them by editing them in the composer.
I can attach a screenshot if that'd clarify.

Ah, I got it now. It only fails initially and only when sending if not editing.
Thanks!

Please try the latest test release. I've fixed several related bugs.
