Mailmate hangs when opening GPG messages

I have just re-enabled GPG in MailMate by installing the current
GPGTools for Mavericks.
Encrypting and signing messages works just fine, but right now
Mailmate hangs while opening a GPG-signed message until I kill the
gpg2key_hpk process from the command line.
What can I do to help you debug this?

Please close this ticket. The problem was simply that my keyserver was not responding. Sorry for the confusion.
