Scrolling issue

I set up MailMate yesterday, and it looks like all messages have downloaded, but scrolling is extremely unresponsive and choppy. I don't have this problem on Safari or on the Apple Mail app. This choppy scrolling is in both message lists and in messages themselves.

Can you advise how I can resolve this?

    How many messages do you have? You can open the “Activity Viewer” (⌥⌘0) to see if the accounts are fully synchronized.

    Could this be related to ticket #510?

    It may be, though I thought that #510 was about choppiness in just the Message view, whereas this encompasses any scrolling in MailMate including lists etc.

    The activity viewer shows both of my accounts to be idle now. Since then small lists and all messages scroll fine, but large lists (such as All Messages) remain choppy. Could this just be a performance issue? I'm running an early 2013 13" retina MBP.

    I guess that could be a performance issue. How many messages do you have in “All Messages”?

    About 146,000, so that would make sense. No worries, as my inbox seems to work fine now.

    Ok, that's quite a lot although I'm not sure why it would affect scrolling speed. It affects the time it takes to switch mailboxes and do searches, but this is already on the performance todo.

    I'll mark this as cantreproduce, but it might be implicitly fixed when making other optimizations.
