unable to see the body of the email

Hello,
This morning my MailMate does not show body of the emails. The body is blank for most of the emails I am receiving or when I look at the sent history. The only way to see the sent email's body is to hit forward, in which case it shows up in the new email forward window.
Can you please help?

Is there some pattern with respect to which messages are shown?
Make sure this is not a layout related issue (it probably isn't if some messages are shown correctly). In particular, check “View ▸ Layout ▸ Show/Hide Message View”.
Note that you can view a message in its raw form using “View ▸ Show Raw Message” (⌥⌘U). When the body of a message is not displayed can you then see it in full in its raw form?

Update to this problem - doesn't seem to be a MailMate issue, turns out startup disk was in need of repair with Disk Utility, once that was done, messages displayed correctly after a reboot.
