Drag and drop move mailboxes don't always work
Reported by Nikesh Thakkar | March 15th, 2013 @ 07:10 PM
I like to select multiple messages using my trackpad and then drag lock them across to the Mailboxes list and scroll up/down and then try to drop the message into the correct mailbox/folder.
This fails quite often. About 50% of the time, it just doesn't drop it in, and goes back to the highlighted message. Trying to do it again while it is still highlighted/selected fail again. I have to manually unclick, select the messages again, and then perform the same procedure and it would work.
Is there an issue?
On a side note, while I am in the process of scrolling up/down, it sometimes starts highlighting the mailboxes while scrolling even though I have not selected anything.
Please do help.

I cannot reproduce this behavior. (If someone else sees this ticket and can confirm it then it would be appreciated.)
I don't usually use the mouse to drag'n'drop messages to mailboxes which means I might not see the behavior described (I use ⌥⌘T). It might be related to mailboxes being synchronized while dragging, but that's just a guess. It might help if you can pin down a success/failure trigger. I mean something which correlates to when it fails to drag and when it succeeds to drag.
I'm not quite sure I understood the 'side note'. Scrolling in the mailbox outline? Could this be a problem with your trackpad?

Benny, how can I help reproducing? I've now tried to move folders which have subfolders, and it consistently gives problems...
