Blackboard bold `F` not working in TeX

#3306

I tried to type a blackboard bold F in TeX math in MailMate using \mathbb{F}. It looked fine when it compiled in the preview window and immediately after send in MailMate, but on my iPhone mail app and in MailMate after a restart it showed up as 𝔽. I'm not sure why this is. I'd attach a screenshot but this tracker says the upload quota is full. Please let me know if any other information would be helpful.
