Feature Request: Open Mailbox in Tab

I often like to open separate tabs when viewing a different mailbox. In MailMate, this requires at least 3 clicks, one to open the new tab, another to expand the mailbox hierarchy, and a third to select the mailbox, plus a fourth if I also need to change the layout. It would be nice if I could simply right-click on the mailbox in the existing hierarchy in my current tab and see an option for "Open in New Tab". The new tab should ideally retain the same layout as the current tab.
As a comparison, some of the other mail clients I've used in the past have a similar feature which I was used to. Mac OS Finder itself has this feature as well. If you right-click on a folder in the file listing or in the Favorites section of the sidebar, Open in New Tab is the first option.
