Export command running slow

I'm running the Copy to mbox command under
Command > Export by selecting all ~800 mails in a
mailbox. However, the app soon hangs and not responding, taking
100% CPU. I keep inspecting the size of exported mbox folder and
can see the size is growing at a rate of ~0.1MB/s, but the mailbox
I'm trying to export is about 700MB large.
I've also tried the Copy to folder command and get
the same result.
Maybe this is a performance issue that can be improved? Thanks!

I'm aware of “Copy to Folder” being slow and it's on my list to look into it. I'll note that I should also look into the mbox-variant. The latter may be even slower on the M1 since it includes an x86_64-only command which would involve Rosetta.

This particular forum is discussing an issue here and that is the export command is running slow. They have buy Rum tried lots of methods to solve these issues and I think it is better to ask experts' opinions on that. I am looking here for more updates on that and keep up the good work.
