Add to Notification Center

Reported by Mark | August 7th, 2012 @ 09:32 PM

It would be great if MailMate sent notifications of new email via Notification Center, like Mail.app does, in Mountain Lion.

I do want to support the new Notification Center. Right now I'm waiting to see what happens with Growl (the third party software currently used for notifications). If they do what they have promised then it may be very easy for me to support Notification Center without giving up Growl -- and it won't require users to buy Growl.

This has been supported for some time using the new Growl framework, but this ticket was never updated.

Notifications do not require Growl to be installed and standard OS X notifications are shown on 10.8+ if Growl is not installed (otherwise it is configurable in Growl).
