Turn off derived identity?
Reported by Phoebe Sengers | September 14th, 2020 @ 05:38 PM
Hello!
I have two main identities I use in Mailmate, personal and work. My
copy of Mailmate has decided that my boss should be written from my
"personal" identity and this means my work email often shows up in
my personal account. I have searched in vain for a way to tell
Mailmate not to use my personal email with him. At this point I
would rather it just not use derived identity at all and use the
work identity for everyone unless I turn it off. I found the hidden
preference around not deriving identity when forwarding mail, but
there doesn't seem to be any way to turn off deriving identity at
all (or of telling Mailmate it is doing one particular person
wrong, or of using my mailing behavior to teach Mailmate what the
right identity is). Your insight would be appreciated.
Thank you for writing this marvelous software.
