Remove flag on multiple messages has incorrect result

Description

If multiple messages are selected with at least one having a flag, the "Clear Flag" operation does not behave as expected. Instead of clearing the message flags, the application marks all items as flagged. In addition, the flag color often varies -- for example, some of the messages might get flagged red and others get flagged as orange.

Test Procedure

  1. Flag one message with the flag color of choice.
  2. Select several messages one of which being the message just flagged; this can be a contiguous or discontiguous range of messages as the failure should occur in either case.
  3. Select "Clear Flag"
  4. Note that the messages previously selected are now all flagged.

Expected Results

  • Step # 3 above results in all selected messages having no flag.
