multi-keystroke error

When processing a folder, I will often hit 'd' for a series of messages. Sometimes, one 'd' executes as two d's. This of course causes 2 messages to be deleted. I follow up with a 'z' to undo and continue processing. But, it would be nice to understand and resolve what causes this error.

I should add that I am not using an Apple laptop with a faulty keyboard. The behavior is specific to Mailmate.app

Is it reproducible in any way? If not, how often does it happen? What is your exact key binding for
d?It seems to be implied, but I assume the undo only reverts the deletion of 1 message?
