JMAP was built (over the past 5+ years) by the bright guys over at Fastmail.fm / Fastmail.com:

https://fastmail.blog/2019/08/16/jmap-new-email-open-standard/ (JMAP ratified / published by IETF.)I suspect Benny might wait a year or two to see what the speed & depth of JMAP deployment by major email providers looks like before investing the probably-vast amounts of time needed to implement it in MailMate.

Just bumping this as well to see if there's any interest here.
Fastmail released their JMAP label support as a beta feature and I would love eventual support of these labels in Mailmate to one day move to Fastmail.
