using specific gpg key for recipient
Reported by Lars | November 4th, 2019 @ 10:03 PM
I am trying to send an encrypted message to somebody that uses a company-wide gateway. That gateway provides transparent encryption to everyone behind it. Which is why the public key they are using does not contain their personal address, but only a generic company address. Thus, MailMate complains about not having my recipient's public key available.
While in general this is expected behaviour and it's rather bad practise to not use individual keys, I still need a way to write to that person using the public key that isn't theirs. Now, the hidden preferences mention mapping an address to a specific key: https://manual.mailmate-app.com/hidden_preferences#openpgp--smime
Could I use this to map a recipient's address to a specific key as well?
