Sorry to hear that! It looks like it happens on the arrival of an email which means that it probably won't happen if the machine is offline. (That doesn't help you. It's just an observation.)
First, try fetching the following test release and see if it behaves differently: https://updates.mailmate-app.com/archives/MailMate_r5660.tbz
If it still crashes and you know how to use a Terminal window then try launching MailMate like this (given MailMate is installed in /Applications/):
/Applications/MailMate.app/Contents/MacOS/MailMate
Send me any output there might be before the crash.

It still crashes with r5660.

Hmm, not great formatting there. Here it is as an attachment.

One detail that may be relevant, this occurs on my 2018 Mac Mini running Mojave 10.14.6, but not on my MBP running Catalina 10.15.

since today my MailMate also crashes on restart.
i added a Smart MailBox to my Spam Folder - an as usual sometimes if i delete the last message in a SmartFolder it crashed without notification. since then i can start MailMate - but after 1-2 seconds it crashed silent again. i see only an notification about `crash record sent.

i have addidional crash reports in Konsole App - where i can send it per eMail?
-
Muescha November 8th, 2019 @ 02:33 AM
it was possible to fix it this way:
- take wifi offline
- take all source mailboxes (on bottom of the tree) offline
- restart MailMate
- take each mailbox one by one online
- even the last mailbox where i expect the error goes successful online
i don't know what fixed the crash - but this workaround was working for me

@musescha – 2024-01-21 and your workaround still works! Thank you. However, I can't get one gmail account back online. When I make it go online it crashes MM, but at least your fix got two out of the three email accounts working, so thank you.
