Moving/Deleting a message intermittently moves/deletes two messages

Reported by Eric Reuss | October 14th, 2019 @ 08:24 PM

Sometimes, when I move a message to another mailbox or send it to the Trash, the same action will then immediately be performed on an adjacent message, so that 2 messages are affected instead of 1.

I'm performing the move/delete entirely with the keyboard. Specifically, I hit a key for move, then type the first two letters of the folder I'm moving to (Receipts), then RETURN to move it; I can reproduce it intermittently this way. However, if I just hit the key for move followed by (RETURN) to move it to the top folder I've thus far been unable to reproduce, even when the top folder is Receipts, and even when typing very quickly (which I think makes it happen more often?)

Other possibly relevant details:
• It takes two "undo" commands to return both messages to the inbox. • I use custom key bindings. • I'm running MailMate Version 1.13 (5655) on OS 10.11.6 (15G22010). • This isn't super-recent behavior - it took me a little while to realize that it wasn't me accidentally double-keying, and then many more weeks to get around to actually posting this - so I'm pretty sure it wasn't introduced in the Oct-02 release.

[I grabbed the tail of the Activity window after a move which didn't misfire and after a move which did, but the latter is long enough that I probably shouldn't post it inline and the screen here says "Upload Quota Reached".]
