gmail labels don't sync with mailmate in oneway

Hi,
I have created some tags synced with gmail labels.
When I add a tag to an email in mailmate, then gmail integrates it
as a gmail label.
But in the other way it doesn't work, as when I add a label in
gmail, then I don't see it as a tag in Mailmate.

This is intentional. It's very hard for MailMate to know which Gmail labels should be interpreted as actually being tags. A Gmail label is both an IMAP mailbox and a tag. There's no distinction since it's all about how the user uses the label. I hope that makes sense :)
