Feature request: Ability to invoke SpamSieve through a Mailbox rule or to specify order of SpamSieve execution
Reported by Charles Lamprey | April 13th, 2018 @ 06:11 PM
I currently have a setup where I have SpamSieve enabled in MailMate and also have a set of MailMate rules attached to the INBOX. These rules provide for blacklisting, whitelisting, and for moving some incoming messages to particular folders.
The problem I have is that SpamSieve is hardcoded in MailMate to execute BEFORE any rules that are attached to a Mailbox. So, if I want to whitelist an incoming email, then move it to a particular folder, it doesn't happen if SpamSieve categorizes it as Spam before my rules can act on it.
Feature request; either:
-
Allow for the invocation of SpamSieve directly in a Mailbox rule (as is done in the native Mac Mail client). This also implies that Mailbox rule ordering - Ticket #1990, is also encoded, or
-
Allow for a setting when enabling SpamSieve in MailMate to run either BEFORE Mailbox rules or AFTER Mailbox rules.
