Allow non-white background for list and message view

Reported by Rick | April 4th, 2018 @ 01:21 AM

It is thought that people with dyslexia have improved reading performance when a non-white background is used for text. There is a 'Fonts' menu available in MailMate, but the font colour and page background buttons don't seem to do anything.

To accommodate such individuals, it would be very helpful if the 'page' background could be set to a customizable colour (ideally this could apply to any part of the interface with text: viewing messages, composing messages, lists). I realize this would probably be difficult for html email, and might create some aesthetic issues.

However it would be a godsend to people like me who find it very fatiguing to read black text on a white background.
