signatures
Reported by Bill Toole | January 7th, 2018 @ 05:45 PM
A couple of signature related problems :
- multiple signatures created but only one showing up when
writing an email
- inserting a signature sometimes just shows a string of numbers
- seems to be related to whether a message is being signed via
PGP
- signature improperly placed
Thanks for any help on this !
Best regards,
Bill

- Makes sure you don't use the “Address(es)” setting
in the signature settings.

Hmm, I'm not sure how PGP could be in play here. It might somehow be triggered by the signature itself. Does it work if you hit ⌘S in the Composer. If it does then it won't affect the emails that are sent (it'll only be a preview issue). You can send me your signature settings using “Help ▸ Send Feedback”:
/Users/<user>/Library/Application Support/MailMate/Signatures.plist

See the settings in the Signatures preferences pane. Also click “Reset Usage History” to make sure MailMate doesn't remember something different for individual correspondents.

Your signature MUST have a plain text alternative. An email always contains both a plain text message part and an HTML message part (when HTML is used). MailMate needs to know what to put as a signature in the plain text part.
I guess MailMate should warn about this...
