error message: This message has a complex signed and/or encrypted structure.

Hi,
I'm getting the error message: "This message has a complex signed and/or encrypted structure. One or more problems were detected." within a yellow banner at the top of some received messages. This is as opposed to the "Trusted signature for OpenPGP message" and green banner I'm used to seeing.
I'm far from an expert with this kind of thing, but I'm happy to try and help where I can.
I tried posting this question over on the GPGTools website and they suggested I try and ask here.
OS10.8.5
Mailmate v.1.9.1
GPGMail 2.5.2

Try updating to the latest test release of MailMate: Hold down ⌥ when clicking “Check Now” in the Software Update preferences pane. I've changed various things related to OpenPGP and this might make a difference.
Also, I'm not sure why you are on 1.9.1. The latest public release is 1.9.6 r5347.

Thanks so much for getting back to me.
I downgraded to 1.9.1 because the upgrade seemed to replace all of the text based toolbar icons with graphical icons and I didn't like the change. Now that I have a functional reason to upgrade, I might try to do so again.

- State changed from new to resolved
@Mark: Try this in a Terminal window:
defaults write com.freron.MailMate MmUseOldToolbar -bool YES
Then relaunch MailMate.
Let me know if the original issue was not solved.

The update did it!
Not only that, but thanks to your little bit of terminal magic, I've got my text based icons again.
Thanks so much!!!
