Crash when replying

I have a consistent crash when trying to create a reply to a specific message. I tried a couple of other messages and they work fine. However, this is not the first time I have such a crash, so it might be something in some messages that triggers it.
The crash occurs ONLY if I try to create the reply from the mailbox list view and ONLY immediately after launching MM. If I open any message and close it, then replying from the list view works fine as well.

Thanks. I'm very interested in reproducing this. Could you forward the example email to me using “Message ▸ Forward as Attachment”?
I think you are correct that this is related to whether or not the message has been viewed before being replied.
