Re-enable shortcut Command-T (Go to mailbox...) which is broken since r5342

Reported by Spot | February 8th, 2017 @ 02:13 PM

Since release r5342 the 'Go to mailbox' shortcut Command-T doesn't work any more. Accessing it via menu still works. I regularly use this command and would be greatful if this worked again.

Thanks for the report, but I cannot reproduce this. If you return to an older release does it then work for you?

Do you see the shortcut in the Messages menu?

You're right, it stopped working also in older releases. Hm, what could've possibly interfered with the shortcuts? All other shortcuts keep working (like the 'Move to mailbox' is good')... any idea where I could look at/ test?

Do you have a custom key bindings file in MailMate? (I don't think this could break it though.)

Have you reconfigured the shortcut in the Tags preferences pane? (It's just t by default without any qualifiers.)

Have you done any changes for shortcuts in the System Preferences?

Do you have any apps installed which might use it as a global shortcut? (Try quitting all other apps.)

Does anything happen when you use the shortcut?

    • No, I have no custom key bindings file.
    • No, I didn't reconfigure the Tags preference pane.
    • No, I have not made any shortcut changes in the System Prefs.
    • I turned off all apps, still doesn't work.
    • No, nothing happens at all when I use the shortcut.

I can't recall having changed anything to the running system that could interfere with Mailmate in this regard. I also couldn't identify any other shortcut which wouldn't work any more.

And yes, the shortcut is still visible in the messages Menu.

Okey, Command-T works again for now apparent reason. Didn't change the running system (apart from re-upgrading the older version), functionality just 'magically' work again. Sorry for bothering you.

Thanks for the update. Let me know if you spot a pattern to this behavior.
