Can't change the keyboard shortcuts of mmbundle commands

Reported by Yogananda | January 27th, 2017 @ 01:23 PM

Hi there!

I've changed the keyboard shortcut for Command->MacVim->Edit, but it doesn't seem to take effect. The new shortcut shows up in the menu, replacing the default of ⌃⇧O, but hitting it has no effect.

Strangely, I can get it to work in Keyboard Maestro, but only by treating Edit as a submenu, and not as a menu item. When I try to get KM to select it as a menu item, it fails.

Not a huge emergency, but it's a bit odd, and a small annoyance.

Thanks!

I have the same issue -- I can't get the keyboard shortcuts of the MacVim bundle to work at all (clicking the menu item with the mouse does work, so the bundle is operating correctly).

The default shortcut of "^O" does nothing, and if I change it by editing the Edit.mmCommand plist file, that doesn't work either.

    My system: MailMate/5895/8F8E1CBA-36C6-57D7-B1EC-9DF1B8607CDC 12.5.1/x86_64/MacBookPro14,1/4

I don't have Keyboard Maestro, so I haven't got a workaround for it. Would be great if it could be fixed!

Try updating to see if it still fails: Hold down ⌥ when clicking “Check Now” in the Software Update preferences pane to get the latest test release.

I don't have MacVim installed myself. Have you tried any other editors? (Just trying to figure out if it's a general issue.)
