Request: Create new binding for goToMailbox: that ignores CMD key
Reported by Mike Petonic | December 11th, 2016 @ 08:58 AM
Hi Benny --
I often call MailMate actions via other programmatic means such as with QuickSilver, BetterTouchTool or another scripting interface using the "perform:" binding.
The fact that I the CMD key down when it fires leads to undesired behavior of creating new viewer windows.
Can we get a special "goToMailboxIgnoreCMD:" binding, or even change the behaviour of the "goToMailbox:" binding? It seems like we're mixing metaphors with having programmatically callable actions rely on the state of a modifier key being pressed.
Thanks!

I've disabled the ⌘ behavior when using scripting or custom key bindings. If needed I'll add a keybinding for opening a new window, but I'll wait until someone actually requests it.
(There's a general issue here also affecting other key bindings. I've only fixed this particular one.)
