Disappearing Junk Mail

I use Mailmate in conjunction with Pobox and spamsieve. Recently I've noticed that whatever is put into my junk mail folder is deleted as soon as I open the folder to screen the junk. I've noticed that some emails are not junk, yet within a few seconds, the entire folder is emptied and deleted without any warning. What can I do about this? Please help. Thank you,

    Whenever a mailbox is selected then MailMate synchronizes it. Therefore this is a sign that the server tells MailMate that the folder no longer exists.

    Make sure the junk mailbox is subscribed via “Edit Subscriptions” in the IMAP account editor. Just to make sure this does not play a part in this problem.

    If you think MailMate is deleting the mailbox and not the server then we can generate logs to verify it:

    • Open the Activity Viewer (⌥⌘0).
    • Trigger the issue including the disappearing mailbox.
    • Use “Help ▸ Send Server Logs”.
