I love what mailmate stands for - a highly efficient and high performance plain text client. However, the performance hasnt really been what I would have liked. Let me know what I can send you to help debug. I have a very large gmail inbox and it has brought apple mail to its knees. Mailmate seems to struggle keeping up (beach ball) and struggles repainting windows during reply-all or when I double-click message.

How many emails do you have in “All Messages”? Is MailMate fully synchronized (no persistent spinners in the mailbox list)?
