Strange rendering on `insertFormatString:` with signatures

Hi Benny,
I recently tried to setup a smart reply key binding using
insertFormatString: as follows (see
My Custom Key bindings):
"r" = ( "reply:", "insertFormatString:", "\nDear ${to.name.first},\n\n"); /* Smart reply */
I have also configured a signature for my mails:

In general, things works as expected yet it happens from time to time that the string is inserted in the middle of the signature, as follows:
Best regard
Dear Jf & al.,
s,
-----------------------------

- State changed from “new” to “cantreproduce”
Looks like a side effect of a bad initial caret position. There was a bug which might have done this. Try the latest test version: Hold down ⌥ when clicking “Check Now” in the Software Update preferences pane.

Unfortunately, I still have the same behavior on Version 1.9.3 (5168)

If you just reply is the caret then placed correctly, that is, not in the middle of the signature?

You mean with the "reply" button rather that the shortcut?
Then no, the caret is still badly placed (between the 'd' and the 's' of "Best regards," which is coherent with the (bad) insertion.So still the same on Version 1.9.3 (5187)
