RULES AND COLOURS FOR INCOMING MESSAGES

I'm trying to find one specific feature which I loved under Apple Mail and that is the ability to color the incoming mail of a specific sender
How can I set a rule for doing this here?

I assume you have found the Rules pane in the mailbox editor, but coloring emails is not currently possible. I don't oppose such a feature, but it's not going to happen soon due to some other changes needed for the messages outline first.

Alternatives are tags (maybe with Emojis assigned) or colored flags. Note the Tags-columns available for the messages outline.
