preferences selections not applying when composing email.

Preferences settings for Position of Signature and Security
Signing are not sticking.
Both of which must be toggled on a per email basis in order to get
the desired result (signature Top and Always Sign by Default,
respectively), even though I have defaults configured in MailMate
-> Preferences -> Security.

Signature are dynamic in the sense that MailMate tries to base its
choice on what has previously been sent. If you change the global
default (Signatures preferences pane) then it's probably a good idea to
also click the “Reset Usage History” button in the same window.I'm not sure why always signing by default does not work. You have this
enabled, but when you create a new message then signing is disabled? -

Reset seems to have worked for the Signature pref. Although logically I think if the user has selected a default it should probably default to that position.
For signing, the more I look at it I think its just a UI issue. I've done a few tests and it looks like the cert comes across ok, but in the UI the 'message size' and green 'trusted signature' bar in message preview seem to flicker in and out while composing. Maybe thats intentional?
ps:
Thanks for the help! Great work on Mailmate so far! -

- State changed from new to closed
Signing: Yes, that is not unlikely. Currently, the message is force-saved when the message structure changes (which can happen with signing, the use of Markdown, HTML sigs, and more). This can be a bit illogical. In general, the message size is only updated when saving the message (⌘S).
