Sent Mail

After I reply to an e-mail message, MailMate indicates a left
arrow in the proper column, but I cannot locate the sent message in
any folder. What does MailMate do that differs from Outlook or Mac
Mail?
I have not customized any settings.

You should be able to double-click the arrow and MailMate should find it for you.
I don't think MailMate does anything differently. The message is moved to the “Sent Messages” folder of the related account. This would, for example, be “[Gmail]/Sent” for a Gmail account, but you can explicitly configure which mailbox should be used by assigning a “Mailbox Type” (see the Mailbox menu) to a specific mailbox within an IMAP account.
