Message threading does not work properly

Hi -

Threading does not seem to work properly in MailMate. It occasionally will group emails in threads, but not consistently. Please see attached screenshots of MailMate vs Mail.app. You can see that I have 'Organize by Thread' selected in MailMate.

    MailMate has very strict threading. Only parent-child relationships are shown. I have multiple requests for making this more flexible for various reasons (#548, #575).

    One workaround is to create a smart mailbox which includes all messages related to the messages in your Inbox. This can be done by making sure no messages are selected in the mailbox and then click the Thread button in the toolbar. Finally, save this as a smart mailbox, e.g., named “Inbox with Threads”.

    I'll update this ticket if/when threading is more flexible.
