IMAP folders unsorted

The listing of the IMAP folder makes no sense. The sorting is random.

Sorry to hear that. MailMate has a feature where it enables manual sorting if any IMAP mailboxes are drag'n'dropped for sorting. In other words, by default it's alphabetical sort, but this might have been disabled for specific IMAP mailboxes. Unfortunately, there's currently no GUI to enable it again (which is a missing feature or bug depending on how you look at it -- in any case I'll update this ticket if it's implemented/fixed).
Try this:
- Quit MailMate.
- Edit
~/Library/Application Support/MailMate/Mailboxes.plist. - Search for
sortOrder = "manual"; - Remove such lines if they appear to be related to your issue.
- Launch MailMate.
If this does not help then we'll try to debug if sorting fails for some other reason.
