MailMate Crashing and eating CPU when displaying rich content

I'm a long time Mailmate user but seeing this bug for the first time.
Steps to reproduce (as far as I suppose)
- Open "Medium Daily Digest" (from Medium platform)
- MailMate immediately hangs and eats 200% of CPU.
Attached is my macOS crash log.

The crash report appears to be related to quitting MailMate.
Is it reproducible for you using the steps described?
If yes then use “Help ▸ Send Feedback” to send me an example email (you can drag it into the composer to attach it).

Done, the email which hangs Mailmate is forwarded to your feedback email.

Here's an update. It's happening when I open the above mentioned image-rich email without blocking images and external sources.
