Attachments from viewer to Preview
Reported by Oli | November 28th, 2017 @ 02:08 PM
Good Day!
When an email contains attachments, such attachments can be
viewed by pressing CMD-y. They then open up a viewer-style
window.
If several attachments are enclosed, CMD-enter leads to a neat
overview allowing to conveniently browse all attachments. Cool
feature.
I think to remember that previously CMD-enter opened the attachment in the MacOS-App called Preview. This no longer happens.
Question: is there a keyboard short cut that opens the (selected) attachment in Preview to allow easy printing?
Thank you for your time!
Oliver

The “Quick Look” interface is mostly handled by macOS itself. I just tell it which files to show. But MailMate has an “Open Attachments” menu item with the ⌥⌘↩ shortcut. I'm thinking this is what you used? (It opens all attachments for the selected message.)
