Archiving nested messages at the top of the list

Hi!
The latest messages are at the top of my message list. Sometimes, it is a set of nested messages that appears at this place. When I click on Archive, the second message (which is become the first) is not selected.
It is a problem when cleaning by Archiving a lot of messages because it stops the process and I have to take again the mouse to select this second message become the first.
