Mail Folder View Settings: Global default?

When setting the view options for a mail folder (whether IMAP or Smart) -- organize by thread, header display, columns displayed and message sorting, etc. -- how do I create default view & set ALL folders to that view?
As it is now I have 100 folders and they have varying & maddening differences in columns, sorting, etc.
