Message window size not saved

Reported by André | April 9th, 2015 @ 10:33 AM

I have recently upgraded to MailMate 5084 and since then when I hit Reply to any email message I get a 'larger than normal' window size [for the message editor]. I resize the window, but the new dimensions are not saved for next time I hit Reply. This is rather frustrating. It wasn't like that in previous versions; MailMate would save/remember my preferred window size.

I'm running it on MacBookPro11,1/x86_64/4/10.10.2.

I can reproduce this. Not sure why I had not noticed it. I'll look into it.

Thanks, Benny! I'm happy to hear that.

If there's any command-line magic to fix it, please let me know. Otherwise, I look forward to downloading an update as soon as possible.

Would the 'experimental 2.0 features' be a quicker channel, btw?

    a.

No, there is no way to fix it at your end. I believe I've fixed the bug though. It's not available yet. When it is then the fastest way to get it is to hold down ⌥ when clicking “Check Now” in the Software Update preferences pane.

I'm running 5547 and this is still happening. Whenever I open a new message window, either via New or Reply, it opens with a wide size. I resize and send or close the windows, and it new ones still open with the previous size.

@Mike: Is this still an issue with the latest test releases?

Nope, works fine in 5566. Cheers.
