Group from Contacts not expanded

When I send a mail to a Group that has some 5 members in my
Contacts, MailMate does not expand the Group to individual
mailadresses. This leads to an error 'No receivers specified in
message' during Send.
I checked the System Preferences > Security and Privacy, and on
the Privacy tab, MailMate is allowed to access Contacts.
Running MailMate 1.9 (5066) on OS X 10.10.3 (beta).

I found the cause of this behaviour. I used to double click the group. One has to select the group and then hit the Tab key in order to expand the group.
